Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of thurin.ai and the Thurin application at app.thurin.ai (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Eligibility and Account Security

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must keep your login credentials secure and notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
• You may not share accounts, resell access, or transfer your account without written permission.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Thurin to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Generate, distribute, or facilitate malware, phishing, fraud, credential theft, or other abuse.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or otherwise harm others.
• Bypass or probe system limits, rate limits, auth controls, billing controls, or safety controls.
• Reverse engineer or interfere with the Service infrastructure.

We may investigate misuse and suspend or terminate accounts to protect the Service and other users.

4. Compute Billing and Fees

Included Free Usage

Each account includes up to $15 of model compute spend during beta (hourly-equivalent benchmark: $5/hour, approximately 3 hours of compute).

Usage Above Included Compute

After included beta compute is exhausted, usage is billed at Thurin's compute cost + 10% platform fee. This pricing model is referred to in-product as "compute+10%."

• Usage metering is based on request/token/runtime telemetry collected by our systems.
• Current usage and per-request cost markers are shown in-app and/or API responses when available.
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all billable usage and applicable taxes.

Payment Processor

Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying through Thurin, you also agree to Stripe's terms and policies.

5. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you:

• Violate these Terms or applicable law.
• Create material security or abuse risk.
• Fail to pay outstanding charges.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Account deletion requests can be sent to [email protected].

6. Beta Service Disclaimer

Some or all of the Service may be offered as beta or pre-release functionality. Beta features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We make no uptime or performance guarantees for beta features.

7. Intellectual Property

Thurin and its underlying software, branding, and service components are owned by Thurin, Inc. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Thurin disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

AI outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thurin will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

Thurin's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the total amount you paid Thurin in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice (for example by email or in-app notice). Continued use of the Service after the updated effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
